To the Family of Nancy: I am just hearing of the passing of Nancy and on behalf of the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club members, staff, volunteers and Board of Directors please accept our sympathy and prayers. What a lady and what a life. I look forward to our visits a couple of times a year and she was always so interested in the club, our kids and what we were doing and has been a great supporter. Of course, our conversations would also lead to basketball ( a common passion for both of us) and at one lunch led to her adventures at Saratoga. ( I think she mentioned hitch-hiking to the track, and also a common passion for us) I was amazed at what a life she led and the energy she still had in our last visit in the fall. I know she cared about the youth we served and cared about many others as well. Certainly, a life well led. " A life is not important but the impact it has on others" certainly fits Nancy.
